A truck driver in Allen, Texas, died in an accident after their 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle on a freeway overpass and fell to the road below, police said.

Not much left of the truck. My guess would be the driver lost control while driving too fast. Being distracted while using the phone or something else, is also often the culprit.

Driver fell on his back inside the cabin and got crushed by the bottom of the truck. Check your tires, pay attention and dont spend much time in a car, folks. Exercise 💯

It’s surprising it doesn’t happen more often. I was on a turnpike this weekend, truckers driving 80, passing on the left, weaving thru traffic like selfish twumpers. It used to be the truckers who drove the safest, respected speed limits that we respected for the impossible job they have to grind through daily. Now many drive recklessly.
They need taller and stronger guard rails on highway overpasses.

Now a days, being a truck driver can get innocent people killed on the highway. If you are a truck driver, find a safer job. Don't be the reason why a child never sees their mother or father ever again.

Im a truck driver, and can tell you, its really not that hard to drive these things around without smacking into sh*t and crashing and dying.
the barriers on the side of these highways should be designed so this unique event never results in truck falling off the overpass – a simple process and may actually give opportunity to reduce the cost of the construction of the infrastructure
That is unfortunate. But at least they died doing what they love.
