It is strange that not a single one person in the news have even tried to ask those homeless people about what they think might help them to get some better future, but you all on behalf of the homeless person would yourself decide that such homeless person is expected to think independently with own brain as someone's employee.
The employer is not the one searching for some housing to the employee.
If the salary is payed monthly/2weeks, it might happen on 28th day of work as still a homeless employee – that the employee simply can not meet at work.

They're poor because they won't learn to get money, or take care of it when they get it. Very, very few are homeless only because they don't have money. They don't have money because of mental illness and/or addiction, in most cases.
