An American Airlines passenger was arrested after punching a flight attendant midair when he was asked to leave first class and return to his seat. NBC News’ Maya Eaglin reports on the confrontation that was caught on camera which comes amid a difficult few years for flight crews as violent interactions are at an all-time high.

As another passenger, i probably wouldve kicked the passenger in the balls and called it a citizens arrest.
I saw 1st-degree assault and interfering with a flight. Also, where are air marshalls as this level of violence is rampant and escalating.
That attendant could have died. Head injuries are so varied. This makes me so angry. Do not be fooled, that punch is NOT that person's first or only time behaving like this. He's just couldn't hide or control it publicly this time. What's in his past? DV? Assault? SA? DUI? I bet EVERYTHING
