Rescue teams are working around the clock to save around 35 survivors of a pod of 230 pilot whales that became stranded on a beach off the coast of Tasmania, Australia.

Why are the whales doing this? Something in the near environment scaring them? making them sick? sonic waves hurting their ears? Are they having mass suicide to protest human atrocities?
I wish we could know.
With all of our technology, they should be able to invent something that would keep the whales from beaching to begin with.
They are probably doing this because of Japanese whale fishing!
