This is our worst batting line-up since, god knows, ever? Statistically I think it might be. Even when we were getting creamed in the 90s there was Atherton, Stewart, Thorpe etc.
The ECB sold their soul to Sky after the 2005 Ashes. There were still talented young players coming through the system then, so it's taken till now for their folly to really be exposed. Young white English kids don't play cricket now. Thank god for those of us with Asian heritage, who will probably hold us together if anyone will.
