What an excellent captain and gentleman. I have a lot of respect for Joe Root as one of the premier cricketers around the world and how he handles himself on and off the field, as much as I was happy that he got out in the 2nd Innings leading to our win, I did want him to get his century.
With showers and cloud cover expected and GABBA wicket always have that extra for pacers on day-1 it settles down on Day-2, day-3 he would have bowled 🤷♂️
