It depresses me to think that the amount of $$ spent on publicity is more of a determining factor in an election's outcome, than where candidates stand on actual ISSUES. Warnock is currently above "Coocoo for Cocoa Puffs" Walker by a mere five points. THAT is insane.

Mandela Barnes is from a working class neighborhood in Milwaukee and Russ Feingold is from Janesville (Paul Ryan’s home town). the democratic strategist was absolutely right the only one from Madison is Tammy Baldwin. The stupidity of replies I get on my postings has finally made me decide that there is no sense in commenting back to these fools. The stupidity is like Trump. The polling is going to be just as off in 2022 as it was in 2016, just in the other direction. Polling only takes likely voters into account, but we are seeing record voter registration for a midterm, and 70% of newly registered voters are female. Extrapolate from that what you will.

Remember Stacey lost to Kemp by just 50,000+ votes last time, if I remember correctly. They won't make that mistake again. And her celebrity status won't matter much because she's actually stayed in Georgia working for people on both sides of the aisle. And Kemp's abortion stance wasn't a factor last time. This time it is. Not much has changed for Stacey since.
It is not true that Wisconsin is more rural then urban. Most Wisconsin residents live in urban areas. But most are in suburbs or in small cities, not Milwaukee or Madison proper, and most of Wisconsin's suburbs and small cities are fairly conservative on average.
If the country is that stupid to let republican take the house and the senate, two things will happen. One, women will become second class citizens with the loss of rights over their own bodies. Two, nothing will get done and the country will grind to a do nothing country. None of these outcomes will benefit anybody, but republicans don't really care. All they want to do is to take revenge for Trump losing to biden in 2020.
