I'm a bit shocked that Chuck Todd said climate change doesn't have a political party or recognize borders, because it sure did when it used to be called "Global Warming," a term which has been legally banned from discourse because it pointed the finger at big business and manufacturing. It's safe to say if that had been true even as late as ten years ago, climate change wouldn't be as huge a risk as it is today.
Another point that seems absent from this conversation is that Hurricane Ian is more like Superstorm Sandy than any hurricane ever. It's also much more like typhoons in East Asia–which is better built to withstand storm surge, in Japan for example. It's an extremely large and slow moving storm which even when it's borderline category 1 moves more water than a typical hurricane.
All of the sudden, when it's costing big business and manufacturing, and rich people in general, we're all singing kumbayah together, but let's not pretend that Global Warming wasn't highly divisive back before the Obama Administration. Al Gore ran for President on this issue, and lost.

She is correct because until democrats stop pushing for abortion rights to murder up until the second before birth my family and extended family will vote republican straight down ballot. Most Americans believe in late term abortions for life safety but there is a point when the infant has a right to life so called "heartbeat laws" Murder of an infant that can live outside of the womb is sick and evil.

We must take what we know; each of us knows some things that others don't know but each of us don't know everything and each of us thinks we know things that we don't know. Each of us knows very little which is one reason why we are stronger together when we provide our knowledge together through communication and in our communities. This is why education is important so we can inform more people about what we know and about some of our uncertainties we may have in order to solve more problems and make us more resilient.
In order to change the world in a better way, we must create billions of jobs that are innovative and good paying jobs around all parts of the world that provide welfare for other people, have safe working conditions and hours, and are good for the economy and the environment. The education department should be in control of the global economy; not many of the Republicans dark money. In addition, everyone has the right to affordable college education because it is a right to all which is why we must increase the minimum wage for working class families.

In CA you are required to buy fire insurance or you don't get coverage for your property. These states where hurricanes happens yearly should have flood insurance laws to require it.
