God forbid $100 hrs not enough for the railroad workers while trucker get paid 100 times less. Yet truckers move 60 percent of trades and goods and trains only move 40 percent. Times to shut trucks down.

The economy is already threatened. Everything is in shambles. My portfolio has greatly depreciated, and the volatility of the market seems to be very crazy these times! Surprisingly I just saw a related video on "how I made over 100K from the markets" Seems I am getting it all wrong.

After many years of 24/7 call for work, I fell asleep driving to work for a train that went on duty at 1:15 AM. Luckily I didn't hurt anyone else, and only lost the vehicle. When they towed my car, the police asked me if I wanted a ride somewhere. I figured, might as well go to work, now I'm going to need the money even more.
Trust me, the 24/7 call issue is dangerous. Your body's sleep rhythms are not designed to change from night to day and back again, literally from one day the next. Your mind starts dealing with the lack of quality sleep by being in an almost "walking sleep" mode, and that is no way to be operating high speed heavy machinery.
No strike in Canada
I can't wait for the Mad Max lifestyle. Bring it on.

I don't blame them, I hope they do strike and I hope it does help take down the economy completely. It needs to happen anyway, I hope the entire country goes in to a great depression so that it can be fixed and rebuilt.
Local subways may shut down like Amtrak because they use the rail tracks owned by the companies on strike.

The railroads also carry the majority of the DEF (diesel exhaust fluid, for emissions, the truck cannot run without this fluid, thank your local environmentalist for this) is transported by trains, alson with the diesel to power those semis. I'm a locomotive engineer for NS and would like to thank everyone for their words of support I hope congress realizes employees are quitting the railroads at a record breaking rate. Although they have been trying to hire they can't even replace the great people they laid off. Without a fair contract a lot of us are ready to give up and move on. One thing you should know is the entire time our country has been suffering the class one railroads have been making record-breaking profits.
