Socialists want everyone to be "equal". Except them, because Somebody has to be in charge and of course they are best suited to tell everyone what's best for them. They love spending money..so long as it's not theirs. Look at the lifestyle of the Socialist Democrats running the country today and compare it with what they are doing to the average family's ability to survive. They have destroyed þns of thousands of small businesses and expect the corporations remaining to operate with marginal profit margins at best. Liberal socialists do not comprehend how business works. Profit means growth. Growth means more workers, new construction of facilities, greater purchasing power to aquire more raw materials and more production of consumer goods. More workers mean more taxes for the liberals to spend but That concept completely eludes theit give away mind-set! A conservative vote in November will see many restrictions on businesses lifted, more jobs a robust economy and more taxes to correct this failed socialist attempt at a government takeover here in America!

Socialism is the worst thing ever. That's why Florida should get no aid from FEMA. It's wealth redistribution. How long can the nanny state pay to rebuild the houses of idiots who want to live in a disaster zone? If people in Florida want to get a new house after a hurricane, they can pay $30k/year in insurance premiums. Otherwise, if their house gets completely washed away, they just don't have a house anymore. Sucks to be them, should have bought that insurance.

In 1990 I traveled to Eastern Europe on business – one year after the wall came down. It is difficult to describe the horrible conditions in cities throughout Poland and East Germany. Rivers and streams were open toilets. Lakes were toxic chemical dumps. East Berlin made Detroit slums look like a posh resort vacation location. The Oder River, between Poland and Germany was an oil slick.
Capitalism always results in some people being rich and some people being poor, while socialism always results in all people being poor. The ones who thinks latter is better schould get their heads examined.
