In all the zillions of times an actor was handed a prop gun for a scene in a movie or TV show, I wonder what percentage of the time they checked to see if the gun was loaded, as opposed to assuming the crew responsible had already checked it out.
This is so dumb, i just don't see why they couldn't have used a solid plastic prop then add any effects digitally.
Baldwin was having an affair with her and she wanted more…this was a less obvious way to get rid of her…Alec is a cold blooded murderer…

Of course he is not responsible, the guns should be safe BEFORE it is handed to an actor / actress. The crew responsible for the safety of the gun are at fault.
