Replace "slimmed down" with diminished. That will be the damaging result. Young people want Eugenie and Beatrice, – some young blood. They are excellent royal ambassadors. The old are getting older …. they do not represent nor carry the future. If Charles rejects them it exposes very poor judgement influenced by personal pettiness. And please none of the despised Meghan and the half wit son Harry. We will endure the upcoming Memoir and then they will gradually fade off. Their only talent is attacking the RF for big money. Quite repulsive.
The ONLY people King Charles can count on: Princess Anne, Prince Edward and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and Princess Beatrice. Harry and Meghan want all the benefits for doing nothing; they should be stripped of ALL royal titles, holdings, and funds and he and his "heirs" should be removed from the line of succession.
The Monarchy should absolutely be slimmed down.
Prior to making Windsor Castle her official residence, the Queen would live in 3 Castles/Palaces throughout the year. Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and Balmoral. Whilst yes the Queen is important, having 3 of those massive estates? Buckingham Palace is already partially opened to the public.
But since Windsor Castle is the most popular of the 3, I would say open it up fully to the public. Let it become a proper attraction, similar to that of Versailles in France. Keep Balmoral one of the Monarch's official residences to keep that link between Scottish and English Monarchs.
And of course slim down the number of working Royals.
But the British monarchy brings more revenue into England than is spent. It's good business

Too bad Scobie isn't trustworthy AT ALL. He might observe this in correct fashion, we shall see. But, in the past few years he's proven to report lies, fabrications, claiming others words are his own… He's been the official earpiece and mouthpiece of a cascade of lies provided by Meghan Markle. Shall I go on? Don't trust him, because of what he's proven over the past 4 years, without doubt, he's truly and sadly capable of. If he was in any way here to be supportive of the monarchy he wouldn't be cozied up with the biggest traitor the BRF has seen in decades, if ever.

I remember telling my mom years ago that the monarchy was still a thing because of their respect for the queen who was so revered. But truly there is no point other than symbolism maybe a sense of pride it gives ppl to have royals. Every time I hear "his reign" I think what on earth are they talking about lol what "reign" there is a parliament, this isn't 1672
