Two Russian men arrived in Alaska by boat requesting asylum, saying they are fleeing from military service. This comes on the heels of heavy traffic along Russia’s borders as more Russians try to escape the war. NBC News’ Cal Perry brings us the latest on the conflict.

Putin's war against Ukraine is based on a distorted, 18th century view of Russia. It is not a future oriented vision. It is very sad to see how many casualties there are in this insane war against a free, sovereign country. Slava Ukraini!

I hope more Russians try to avoid the draft and head Alaska's way by boat. Just let Russia get one stray bullet to land on U.S. Soil or attack in U.S, waters and all of NATO can go in and put an end to this war real quick. It's probably the safest way for Russia's draft dodgers to get away from Putin's stupid war. Because the U.S. being a NATO country would have every excuse to level Russia for starting this B.S.
