Why would any independent country want to re-colonize itself by being part of a British re-colonial commonwealth? This is a backward step. The commonwealth is a British way of holding on to an expired empire, Britain still dishing out OBEs, and still displays Slave statues all over the country. Less than 20% of Africans had access to single-dose vaccines. we have better priorities than being ruled by a faraway monarch, allowing them to feel good about themselves.

The Commonwealth countries should recognize King Charles III, still. It would be in their best interests. Now is not the time to pressure the King about reparations. There will be a time for that in the future. Give the King time to adjust, please. The King's sons should show more support for their father. And that breach of security regarding that man taking a picture of the King, it's totally unacceptable. If the King was my father, I would be raising Holy Hell about that. Prince William, Prince Harry, you need to be seen with your father more. If you don't stand behind him, who will. You have an obligation to your father and a duty to the throne, don't forget that. Everything you both have, your titles, lands and money is because of him. Renounce your royal status if you disagree and earn a living off your own talents and see your true value without him. There needs to be more media education on the Commonwealth and the Realms. Many of the Commonwealth countries are already independent, democracies, republics. The realms are those countries whose head of State remain the King such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Jamaica, Belize. How many of you know Pakistan is in the Commonwealth? In fact Pakistan once left the commonwealth and eventually rejoined. Gabon, and Togo, countries in Africa have applied to joined. It is voluntary, leave when you want.
