Think it as a future deal. The economy is very important in these decisions. Can u take a 10,20, or 40% reduction in value. It’s important because if a recession starts there will be a housing crash of a certain %, if enough good buyers buy at high home values a reduction in value puts them under water on there loan. Then your are prayer you are not the ones getting laid off. If ur unlucky, you can’t sell your home and pay it off!
