People are inconsiderate morons. A police officer is not a disposable body that is expected to go on suicide missions to save ANYONE. They are to serve and protect, but in the safest way possible. They are people. They have families too. Any normal parent would risk their life for their children. Not many would risk their life dor other peoples children. If this woman had proceeded recklessly and got herself killed, what about her children? Its ok that they would have to grow up without a mother? There is a Twisted Sister song that seems to fit to describe what will happen if things continue down this path. The song is called Street Justice, go listen to it and think about what the lyrics are and how closely they fit this and other situations like it.
They dont get paid enough to risk their life. There is no blame on that. If the parents want, they can form their own police and lets see if they have the courage to risk their life.
