Researchers at Rockefeller University discovered one of the reasons mosquitoes target some more than others: acids on your skin that are eaten by bacteria, creating an odor. NBC News’ Stephanie Gosk breaks down how the study worked. The aim is to improve repellants and cut down on disease.

I tell you what I live in a area where the mosquitoes thrive because of the conditions and one day my lady said put Vaseline cucumber melon lotion or or Avon skin so soft she said it works her being a country girl and me being me I didn't want to smell feminine long story short I tried it and works believe me.
Why in America mosquito annoying but in other part of the world mosquito spreading disease.simple mean America spreading virus in other countries so easy to figure out.
I'm wondering if these are the geneticly modified mosquitoes scientists released 👀

A story about mosquitos on October 20. It snowed on Tuesday, so you can imagine my excitement.
There has to be more to it than just a stronger smell. It has to be certain kinds of smell. If I'm with my wife and son (who's 10), they go for them over me. It doesn't matter if I just got out of the shower or worked in the yard all day. She's Vietnamese (my son is half) and I joke that they love Vietnamese food.
So, there is a lot more to it that simply a stronger stink.
A friend ironically attracts mosquitoes llike crazy but they never bite him. YOu see them flying all around him, but their is something in his odor that prevents them from landing and stinging. I see this all the time when he comes by after a jog or long walk dripping in sweat. They wont bite him but then they will turn their aim of me.. so one must consider their behavior is somewhat pheromonally driven. This also means some people are not ment to be in some places, as without protection they would inevitably succumb to mosquitoes viruses.
