An F-35 fighter jet went down near an Air Force base outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. The pilot was able to eject from the plane as several eyewitnesses watched the scene unfold. NBC News’ Niala Charles has the details.

They should not replace these jets. Drones and surface-to-air-missile defense system like Russia's S300, S400 and S500, have rendered them useless in a real war. It's why the US will not send them over to Ukraine to get directly in a fight. It's why the countries who bought them are confident to defy the US now and will do trade with countries on the US Admin 'bad guy' list.
