Rick DeGolia, mayor of Atherton, held a press conference where he announced that a car that had been found in the back yard of a home was thought to have been there since the 1990’s. While cadaver dogs “made a slight notification of possible human remains,” DeGoglia said none were discovered.

It would be interesting to know whose vehicle it was. I'm wondering if it was a previous homeowners vehicle. I read that one of the previous homeowners was convicted of insurance fraud for a claim involving a yacht that he sunk.
They probably hit someone with their car while drunk and buried the car.

Why did they think human remains were in there? Dogs supposedly indicated this? The same way they search citizens based on what dogs say. Even though handlers can make the dogs hit on anything they want.
