Now, about that last sentence… "They also inform us of climate change, experts say." I am a scientist; can you be a little more specific? How does this inform us? Of what does it inform us? What do you mean? What experts? People do this all the time, where they just repeat the mantra about "climate change", without bothering to give facts, or even opinions specific to the situation. Like we're all supposed to know what they mean. It drives me crazy!

Excuses. Every year pilot whales are killed in Faroese Islands, so are dolphins. This year the number ascends to more than 200. The long-finned pilot whales were driven onto the 'whaling beach' and brutally killed.
The hunt, is just one of many that take place every year on the Islands, where pilot whales, as well as other whale and dolphin species are corralled into shore by small vessels.
