I saw a video that said his parents are African, but it says British Asian Prime Minister. I always thought where you were born was more important than what you look like when choosing identity on a form, not for health. But, I guess he gets to be Asian, British and African at the same time.
The USA has Caribbean American for may years now. I was guessing the East Indian descent people in the Caribbean did not want to choose Asian American when Caribbean American was not an option.
I'm about 6 percent South Asian, mostly black, and partially white.
My grandma's mom was Jamaican. She was half white (most likely Scottish) , and half South Asian. She had 12 children in Jamaica from a Black Jamaican.
Also my other grandma was a little bit Indian Or something.
