Trump bought oil when it was cheap to fill our reserves. We have plenty of money in our checking account (oil in the ground), but Biden is spending out of our savings account (oil reserves). What kind of idiots are pulling his strings?

I don’t understand. Biden gave all Venezuelans temporary protected status because their government was persecuting them. The price of gas is on the rise again so Biden is going to draw off our emergency strategic reserves which are lower now than they have been since 1984. Failing that he wants to ease sanctions on a country that treats its citizens so badly that we have to give them shelter. All in order to get more oil before the elections so the pump price might go down. What I don’t understand is how either course is good for America. More so when but for Biden’s anti-oil policy we could produce enough for our own needs.
OPEC has sided with Russia and China, India is buying all the Russian oil Europe was getting and Biden runs our Stratigic Resurve to 1/2 a tank. In war oil is the 1st thing you go after to destroy your enemy.

Let’s say you make sweaters. How much would you invest in new production if the President constantly talked about putting you out of business? If he canceled transportation projects that moved your supplies and products after billions had been spent in them and virtually closed off your industry’s ability to use the vast and necessary public lands to produce wool?
If you were not an idiot, you’d be converting your business to make the things the President wanted you to make, and being very careful about investing capital that might take years to pay off. You’d take the high profits from the sweater shortage, and reinvest in anything except expanding sweater production.
