Why should he step down. Those polices officers had too be careful. They didn’t know what the shooter look like. They only knew he was young. N it was a lot of young man in the school. It’s not the police fault those kids died.

I admit it, I am a cowardly type person, I don't do dangerous things, never have. But I also didn't want to be a police officer. If I can, at almost the age of 70, run to help my neighbor the other day when all I heard was the sound of a saw and then heard him cry out in pain for help (he was not the one using the machine, he's ill and had fallen) and I couldn't see past my shrubbery to know what had or hadn't happened–if I could do that, thinking I might face something awful, then someone who wants to work as a police officer should certainly be able to charge into the fray even if they don't have all the facts, ma'am. I didn't think twice. I knew someone needed help immediately.
Police unions need to step up and stop the madness! We can not be safe with all these guns killing us and our children at record levels! More guns are not making us safer! Quite the opposite!
Did that DPS dude say "DPS did not fail the community.?"

Citizens paying police officers salaries should sue the police department for failing to do their job to protect and serve! They should all be fired and parents get a settlement from the department! Fire them all!

So the NRA claims both written and spoken that guns are a god given right. That is both libel and slander. Who else wouldn’t want to see this in a court room with Wayne laPierre on the stand explaining how god told him this. I hate the NRA, the talk about patriotism so much yet pay zero taxes, while paying hundreds of millions to stop any gun legislation. How can this be? Think about it a non profit pays zero in taxes yet has power to do whatever they want and get away with it. This is so in American. And millions of Americans are ok with this and listen to their thoughts and prayers, when they profit no matter who buys a gun a good guy or a bad guy. This company just wants to sell guns they don’t care. And after every school shooting they want to arm more people, teachers, and armed guards. Which will takeaway from what school is all about learning. Schools shouldn’t be the Wild West. But the NRA, just keeps pushing guns with no restrictions.
