More than five years after 13-year-old Abby Williams ad 14-year-old Libby German vanished and were later found dead, their killer may finally be behind bars. NBC Indianapolis affiliate WTHR reported that a suspect is in custody, according to police sources. Authorities won’t officially confirm an arrest but plan to hold a press conference on Monday.

We haven't even heard the charges yet or this man's involvement.
Hold your horses and please don't speculate further, let the prosecution do their job.
I remember first hearing about this in 3rd or 4th grade, and I first thought the guy in the video saying “down the hill” had run away. These two girls had huge lives ahead of them, and they were very close to my age, the guy is probably planning to do something to come up and confirm he did it or ran away.
I am not sure if the murders are solved or not. I don't know what role Richard Allen played in the murders, if any.
I have researched this case off and on over the years as it resurfaces in the news headlines. The more I watch the press conferences and interviews, the more Doug Carter stands out as an odd man. His adamant stance on not releasing more details is bizarre, in my opinion. He claims it would compromise the investigation, on one hand, but he acts as if he knows exactly who the killer is and doesn’t have enough evidence for an arrest, on the other hand. So which is it? Do you or don’t you? And the fact that the police have never officially released the manner and exact location where the girls’ bodies were found is beyond controlling the evidence for the good of the case resolution, in my opinion. If the killer “may be in the room” as Carter stated in a press conference years ago, then what good does it do to keep those facts secret now, five years later? Delphi is a small town of approximately 3,000 people. Surely, they have talked amongst themselves about this case ad nauseam by now…5 years later. Most likely, the whole town, except the recent to move-in, knows how they were murdered and where they were found. And the recent move-ins probably get to know very quickly. So why is Carter still so tight lipped? Is this his way of controlling the investigation? The town? The citizens? Are he and his cohorts using this case to monitor and survey the activities of the people in and near Delphi? Or perhaps this case keeps him in the spotlight of attention and resources? I don’t know, but he seems odd to me. How can you be so certain and yet so uncertain at the same time? How many more persons of interest will he announce have been arrested? And one last thing, has anyone listened closely to his voice? Disclaimer: I am not from Delphi, have never been to Indiana and do not know anyone connected to the case. I am just an interested individual drawn to hearing this case via the news and social media.
There is no closure when a child d!es. But having this man behind bars may help to cushion your loss. May God Bless.

When I was 13 my buddies and I would go hiking & hunting together all the time back in the 1960s.
Maybe times have changed?
Or maybe we were just lucky back then not to run into a cold blooded murderer. Boys armed & hunting together are a bit more resilient than girls not armed. Heartbreaking.
Anyway a 5 year old cold case is great to have been solved if so.
