  1. Bless him! ❤❤❤

  2. I will always love Matthew. I hope he knows how much he’s helped people over the years, even when he was struggling he was helping people. I went through very dark times when I was a teenager, the only thing that got me through the day, through the endless crying and hating myself, feeling like there was nothing that I could do to make myself feel normal, feel happy, I would get to come home and watch Friends and Chandler would make me laugh and for those moments I would feel okay again. I got to escape the awful thoughts inside my head. For 7 years I would come home and watch Friends all night, just constantly running in the background of my life, I could not sleep if I didn’t have Friends playing on the TV, it was the only thing that let my mind empty itself so I could fall asleep. I will be forever grateful to him and the cast for what they gave me. I’m 25 now and no longer in that place, Friends helped me to heal, I no longer need to have it to comfort and pull me through my days, I can now watch with carefree energy and look back on it as an old friend that comes back in my life when I need it most. Thank you Matthew for helping me when I needed it, and I am so grateful you are here and in a good place helping others with their struggle too. We love you and will always be there for you ❤❤❤

  3. There is an important lesson on maturity and growth that we can all learn from this candid interview.

  4. Rich and not responsible-Stupid hard to feel sorry get a 9 to 5 job

  5. Why does Perry think his story is of any importance? Years after Friends. He was overpaid for a minimum of work. To tell the embarrassing snippet of him and Valerie Bertinelli, embarrassing her and her son so many years after is abhorrent.

  6. Such a hard interview to watch, especially having someone "so close", so dear to so many of us.

  7. I wish he believe in himself, way back when. He was funny (he didn't think so), he was cute and we all loved him ♥ (and I am so ticked TO signing is sold out.. I can't go omg)

  8. Matthew: thank you. Your insecurities and vulnerabilities are the very things that, even in their awfulness, make you so beautiful and good. You are as wonderful now as ever, and I’m some ways, even better. Please say you will bring your book tour to Denver and give a stranger some of your time so you don’t have to “chill alone” in a cold hotel room.

  9. I question this guy because I am a functional 58 yr old addict. Did all the same as him. I think he relapses often. I am still a person who is still drinking beer heavily. This guy looks fucking wasted in this interview.

  10. Never seen a single moment of Friends. But I love you for your courage, commitment to other's suffering. Wish you the best! Keep smiling you wonderful man.

  11. Would love to have a conversation with him if he ever comes to the UK again.
He has a lot of life experience that can help many.
Sending Love and Blessings to Matthew. 🙏🙋‍♀️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

  12. The way they deal with drugs is crazy! It’s not your fault! Then who’s fault is it? I guess this personal responsibility bit was just for some!!

  13. Yip get well soon Matthew xxx ❤️❤️🥰

  14. So tired of Canada being an afterthought to ABC and Disney. No one watches TV anymore and then they say “oh it’ll be on Hulu the next day”… well Canada doesn’t have Hulu and they don’t put anything new on Disney+. Get it together.

  15. Well, Diane Sawyer is insufferable, so let's get that out of the way. But Perry is certainly a sympathetic figure. He was an immensely charming actor. I seem to recall comparisons to Cary Grant in his early days – a man who was attractive to women but likeable enough to appeal to male audiences. Now, he looks like what he is – someone who has been to hell and back. He's made millions and, one hopes, didn't piss all of it away on drugs and alcohol. You can't help but wish him well.

  16. So beautiful to hear this from such a wonderful and strong person. He has really connected me to my own demons, and allowed me to realize thats its all ok.🎃

  17. oh shut up, so now he is going to blame his success for his lack of discipline and drug addiction

  18. those (the minority) people who see this interview, click on it and then spew hate- go volunteer your time instead. none of you, in your entire lives, will ever entertain or inspire anyone as much as MP has and is about to,even more so, in the future.

  19. None of it was his fault tho. I’m just trying to understand that.

  20. I'm so glad that he "got it" before it got him.
    Keep coming back!

  21. What does he say at the end??? 04:35? And spam?! I dont get it, someone help….😭😭😭

  22. His desire to help and teach others reminds me of this verse; I hope Matt is getting closer to it each day of his life. "I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭27‬ ‭NLT‬‬

  23. “Well that’s not me” ❤️

  24. WELL THATS NOT ME is the most iconic ending you could've asked for!!!!!!!!!!WE LOVE YOU MATTY!
