Letโs hope not. Rural voters are sometimes to the right of Atilla The Hun, not particularly sophisticated and it seems (maybe Iโm wrong) more frequent espouses of weird conspiracy theories.
Trump was able to turn out those rural voters in 2016 but in reality the mostly blue Atlanta metro counties have a much higher population and when they turned out to vote in 2020, Georgia was able to flip.

Thank God I live in blue Illinois and not in a welfare red state like Arkansas or Georgia. Didn't used to be crazy about this state. But governor JB did a bangup job legalizing weed, keeping COVID under control, putting Illinois into a budget surplus, cutting out the gas and grocery taxes, and so on. Go ahead and vote red though
It won't matter. No legislation will be passed with a Democratic President, and the Senate need 60 votes to pass most legislation. Just more years with a do-nothing Congress pulling down 170k a year and free health care.
