the only ones calling him what he really is are the Families of the victims.Jurors protected him and The Defense attorneys went beyond their ways to save his life. Finally the judge during the trial showed mercy for him by ordering the victims to remained silence to the Jurors.

The jury let this pain continue. They are cowards & they should all be ashamed of who they are for the rest of their lives. Especially the few that wanted this monster to continue living. The defense team, jury & of course Nick Cruz himself aren't anything but absolute garbage. I hope & pray that they get treated as such from now on.

The sadness and heartbreak of the families is real and justified, but for the judge to allow victims impact statements to turn into personal and threatening attacks on the defense is irresponsible. This is quickly turning into a sad sideshow and does nothing to honor the victims when victim impact statements about how the defense counsel is complicit in the evil and will get their karma for defending the murderer are allowed by the court. Should jurors be subjected to this kind of rhetoric every time after they give a verdict for doing their job? Disgraceful. Judge never should have allowed the statements to go beyond how their lives have been impacted by the killer. Sad that the grieving fathers birthday wishes from now on will be consumed by his hatred for the killer; killer wins that way. Sad that the mother of the victim here is consumed by hate for the defense and jury when all they are doing was their job.

The Parkland murderer would might be killed by another prison inmate just like it happened to Jeffery Dahmer. Now, that’s a death penalty.
There really is zero true and complete recovery/healing for these poor surviving families and friends of the victims.
This decision was just wrong on all levels. Cruz should be sent away from this world. No good can be with his worthless life on earth.

Cruz will need solitary confinement – if he wants to live. He is probably a sick puppy – to be able to sit there as cold as an anvil. These victim impact statements are hard to listen to. I do hope he gets a few hundred years. But -in reality, he's not going to die of old age in prison.

This mom must have such a story migrating from another country and with enormous difficulties she had a child taken from her in the worst possible way and yet this jury allows him to get life ? This whole thing was premeditated, and this man is not crazy , he still fantasize in killing more children’s. How many more school shootings went on after this , this was the perfect chance to show the penalties for this kind of crime . Evil needs to be exterminated , society is paying with their children’s lives
