A great bill to write our U.S. Congressman is to award all citizens and perminant residents between $150,000 and $2 million in a lump sum anytime after 100 months of full time work, part time and volunteer work included in the sum total, for the citizens business start up or already existing business. I like Forbes, but
1. when the Fed didn't start raising interest rates until this year,… everyone was whining about how the Fed waited too long.
2. He constantly says "let rates find their own level", he never explains what he means.
I assue he means, the Fed should never do QE and let the market determine rates for government debt.
3. The deficits and the debt weren't created by the Fed. The fed just reacts to it.
It's the economically clueless fiduciary responsibility abusing democrats who have created this 40 year record inflationary spiral with their shutting down the fossil fuel industry (the life blood of any economy), helicoptering money after the pandemic was over and then wasting another cple trillion on vote buying pork.
If we really want to fix the Fed,.. pass a balanced budget amendment that outlaws politicians from stealing from tax payers.
They aren't trying to depress the Economy per say, what they are trying to depress are Worker's Wages …. In the eyes of Corporate America Workers have way too much power right now and they want you to believe that Worker Wages are the main reason for Inflation (Never mind that studies show that 60% of Inflation can be attributed to Corporate Profit taking) So the Fed is trying to force layoffs and make Workers scared of losing their jobs again (Currently they are not as the Great Resignation and Quiet Quitting have proven) Then they accept the lower Wages so Corporate can make even more Profits at their expense …. In fact it's a double whammy because not only are the Profits at the Workers expense but also at the expense of the Consumer most of whom are one and the same …..
