Sen. Daniel Inouye Defends Congressional Watergate Investigation

Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii) first appeared on “Meet the Press” in 1973. During his interview, he defended a bipartisan congressional investigation of Watergate, saying that the committee members “are just as frightened as any other politician in the United States” about the implications political espionage.
