I'm really mixed on this. I'm not a big fan or Army or whatever, but I just see it as a wasted opportunity. The Korean military does not need these guys who are much better serving their country's interest in music and popular media. BTS members are not super young. Jin turns 30 soon and there's no guarantee their fans won't have moved on by the time they regroup. There have been other examples of Asian Popstars joining the military and not being able to create their earlier stardom after.
Fk bts, cringe fans
GG
Jesus christ 😳the comments have that exact vibe you would expect 😂
Thank you for bringing news about BTS. No matter what we’ll always support BTS. Though I wish South Korea will reconsider to give BTS exemption for the military service due to their country is getting huge profit for their economies all that’s because of BTS’s impacts
lol bts fans gonna be mad
These goof balls look like they need to serve.
Is my non a fan of BTS point of view wrong? I think: poor/ordinary Koreans must do militar mandatory service and rich famous singers can sleep it. Not very fair for the poor/ordinary people. It would show humbleness from the BTS member to do it just to be like one of the people. He is young and used to physical effort (dancing) he can take a few month of militar Training. It could be even an enriching, different experience for him what could lead in new songs, he would be exposed to a very different environment and different kind of people, end up with some new friends etc. Why would be good for him to reject an opportunity for a different adventure like this once in his life? Is it militar service Dangerous in any way in Korea?
They are worth billions to their country’s economy so I doubt they’ll be put in harms way if they do have to serve.
Imagine war breaks out they have to fight. The tears of the fans would be delicious.
Almost a decade: Fans and born country
7X2 = 14 years for saving country
Love that BTS is still going to do it because they have to and want to, I’n just worried as kpop idols going to the millitary can get crazy. And now that a BTS member is going there,, I really hope nothing damaging happens to BTS Jin mental health and career. You can do this JIN and us Armys will ofc be fine as were gonna probably make millions of memes abt it until u come back
Overrated. Exo is better.
You bts people are fucking insane 😂😂😂
all i can say is the leader needs to change this useless system
Its not like there there military service is hard. They going to have such an easy life compared to someone who comes from a regular family in the Korean Army.
Wishing them the best👏🏼💖
They Gon be singing in the battlefield 💀
If Soccer/Football players can do it after a long season of playing games and exerting their bodies to the limit, then they can do it. Heung-Min Son is a well known world wide professional soccer/football player and he served after his season a few years ago. No exceptions
If females wants to be treated equals to men, females should also sacrifice 18-21months of their freedom for mandatory military service. You can't pick and choose. If women want equality, this is inequality based on gender. Lol
Omgggg this is abuse 🥺🥺🥺🥺 BORAHAE 💜💜💜
Great, now theyre gonna get jacked and pull 99% of the female population
I think the fans knew what was coming but just aren't ready to accept it yet, the members have already mentioned before that they want to serve. But what confuses me though is the amount of people against them being given exemptions or special treatment. I mean, if they bring that much prestige and money into the country then I don't any reason to not give them that. Like come on, we aren't even talking about thousands or millions of dollars in contributions here.
My lovessssss💞💞am gonna miss them😭😭💔💔
Little bitches need to man up and at least pretend to serve their country like the majority of other males their age MUST do. Probably will do some light duty stuff anyways while enlisted. Could never imagine these guys being able to defend SK in any real combat situation.
It will put some meat on there bones
At this point bts is no boyband anymore. They are "money" in human form.Either some people like or not their absent in entertainment industry will give a big impact to decreasing korean income especially in entertainment & tourism business.
Imagine if Canada made Justine Bieber catch other countries fades
I feel so sad about BTS members Korean cosmetic plastic surgery….
,,,,😭😭😭….. Why people hate them…. It is because their Korean cosmetic plastic surgery?
Conscription in South Korea has existed since 1957 and requires male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to perform compulsory military service. Why everyone care now?
Also, after their obligatory service they will be back just like many artists in the past.
I still asking, why now the news care about it after 65 years?
They suck anyway. Who cares
thank god i hated their fanbase so much so cancer and toxic
ARMY AND FOREVER ♾️
I don't care, how is this news.
Mga bayot
Imagine the numbers they can bring in for the contractors
As a native south korean who served in military for 2 years, I honestly don't think they have to enlist military. It's not bad at all to give them an exemption cus they've done so much things for the country and united races and cultures in different countries too. But it's a matter of equality. Before BTS there were few groups that was very popular in asian region. And they all enlisted military. If korean defence ministry gives military exemption only to BTS then people would think huge success in asia isn't worth exemption. Measuring how much successful they are and worth exemption is just too ambiguous.
The very wealthy in Korea create this illusion to the working class that there is no privilege and that everybody has to do their part.
Bts💜💜💜
So proud of them ☺️☺️💜💜💜
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😢
South korea really dumb to make them enlist, didnt they realise how much money bts bring to their country
