Hogwash, it is oil companies creating shortages. Oil companies are making record profits and CEOs and Boards of Directors are getting record bonuses. Those same companies have reduced crude oil production and call it shortages. Then they jacked up prices and call it inflation. The UK passed a windfall profits tax on oil companies, to help ordinary Britains. The Republicans would never allow that in the US. They are too busy protecting their billionaire masters.
