After reading the situation that occurred, there's no indication that this was racial profiling. The news article that I had read multiple of them more than half of the people that have been stopped and arrested were black which means that the other half were of other races. It's a bullshit lawsuit

It sucks it happened to him, but in a way I'm glad it did and that he reacted so well. Because normal people don't have the money to lawyer up and take this to court, and don't have this show up on the news. Hopefully it results in meaningful change, doubtful, but one can dream. Respect for Eric Andre.

He probably aint gonna win this lawsuit, just based on the fact that they didn’t actually search him. Ive got some experience with trying to sue police for violating me and unless they actually violate your rights, most lawyers wont even take the case. What it might succeed is stop these roaches from profiling people and harassing people for drugs, just because of the publicity.

Maybe I don't understand the full situation but he was stopped for what 2 mins? Asked if he has drugs. He said no, and kept moving on? Where is the problem?
Again, they probably don't tell the full story but it doesn't sound like he was detained at bagage for 2 hours while they went through all his stuff. This feels like a dumb thing to draw attention too, because real racial profiling and harassment does happens and this undermines it. Rather than harassments it sounds like he was mildly inconvenienced for 2 mins.
