So much for changing coaches. Whata dumb move.
Australia should take t20 seriously if they really want to win the titles. The key areas to be filled are:
1. They must have t20 specialist bowler in squad. Someone like Nathan Ellis who plays t20 all over the world not like Cummins who takes test as main game and t20 as fun.
2. The squad must be consistent. Chopping and changing should be stopped.
3. Out of form player must be left out so that they can play domestic and league cricket and get their form back.
4.i) The roles of player must be well-defined. Eg we didn't see maxwell bowling lot this tournament although he bowls a lot in big bash and seen stoinis bowling a lot who didn't bowled a lot in last tournament and bowls less in big bash too.
ii) There was uncertainty of who is our premium new ball- bowler. Instead of picking wickets australia leaked too many runs in powerplay.
5.Lack of proper preparation was seen with bowler and batsmen both. Exclusion of Smith saw marsh and maxwell on doubt on whether to hit the ball hard or to play slow and composed. Cummins as usual was too-expensive on death. Maybe Captain should have finished his over sooner than 15 th over.
6. low scores in powerplay- Finch was not scoring runs rather was eating the bowl that brought warner into pressure. So warner went to play rash shots. Having out of form batsmen as opener cost australia wc this time.Maybe marsh or stoinis could have paired with warner and finch could have batted at no.3/4.
Still aus searching for best allrounder who can bowl and bat like watson…

We lost the WC not because of poor form but because of "The Curse of Langer"… In the meeting about Justin Langer's continuity as coach after last year's ashes, Finch, Cummins and Paine took part in it… Now Finch is retired ODI captain with everyone cursing him to retire from T20 with all his single digit scores. Paine is now ex-aussie captain not even considered in the squad but warming the benches even in first class going for single digits whenever possible. Cummins main reason why we lost WC with so much conceded runs everyone blaming him…. this is what i call "The Curse of Langer"…
I wish Kohli might have used this guy Jack from North Carolina to overcome the bad patch earlier
