As an outsider, not in the US, I find it increasingly difficult to understand how a country that professes such deeply held Christian beliefs, can sit back and allow so many senseless deaths. Against abortion because human life is sacred, yet barely bats an eyelid when hundreds of people are killed or injured by shooters, every single year. It beggars belief.
