I am super disappointed with you all who are quick to jump Trump ship in hopes to have the shiny new thing. Listen everyone can see DeSantis success. BUT he did not have the push back and attacks that Trump dealt with for four years AS HE MADE TONS OF PROGRESS IN POLICY ETC ETC ETc. Governor is not President of United States. The country needs DeSantis to keep Florida in the Red and help that state. Also Trump did not say DoSantos would be disloyal.

Latino vote share increasing is well and good but it doesn't help enough to solidify any republican presence in the rust belt, and if you win AZ, GA, and NV, you still need at least one of those states to win an election which comes down to working class whites. It's not like Trump himself has been a slouch increasing the Latino vote share, and he plays better in PA, WI, and MI then DeSantis could. Ironically the real best ticket for 2024 would still be one with BOTH trump and desantis.

What has not been explained is the polling predictions and the results. I personally feel that fear prevailed in the midterms and that the issues were anti-Biden sentiment, but the Dems advised the local candidates to keep their distance from Biden. It appears that the other candidates are wrong, but not mine was the sentiment. The change fever did not prevail because fear of a worse scenario was in the back of their minds. For example, the abortion narrative of a national federal law outlawing abortion everywhere by Republicans took hold in PA. However, in other states it was considered nonsense. Most voters are semi-illiterate when understanding the issues, but in the end vote for who they like until their wallet is empty. In 2 years there may be a whole lot of empty wallets and purses. Hold on … the ride is going to get rocky.
