Here's my view on it. I would not personally buy a book or film knowing content like this. Any hate for that matter, unless it is constructed from the anti-hate point of view. I do not promote hate, other than haters hating. Sorta like 'I hate you hater'.
On that note I don't believe in banning or getting rid of literature or film that has hate in it. It is a record for future generations to see when making critical thinking decisions. It shows how some people feel about other people. Further more hate is wrong, we all know it is wrong, and it is the guilty party who has to carry that burden the way it should be.
In the end they lose. They always do.
If haters buy this sort of material to satisfy their hate, then they are building a record of hate material. Again, for future generations to see. It is proof. And why is that important? At the end of WWII the nazi's tried to burn, get rid of all of the proof of what they had done in Germany and elsewhere. They failed because there was plenty of proof of what they did to people.
I believe groups must preserve these pieces of proof so the world will always know who these kinds of people are. Without proof? They can deny it ever happened and that would make them right.
