Investigators responded to reports of gun shots and found a 46-year-old medical examiner and her estranged husband dead inside her Dallas office. Officials say they believe the husband may have entered through an employee entrance, and fatally shot his wife before turning the gun on himself. KXAS’s Sophia Beausoleil reports.

I always check to make sure no one in my house has a weapon because they are all crazy or unstable the smallest thing could set them off.

Thank God another win for the 2nd amendment it's un-Texan to deny an individual a Handgun because of mental health. That's the appeal of open carry. Never having to say you're sorry.
These ongoing stories about husbands killing their own wives makes me appreciate even more the wonderful, trustworthy and amazing husband I had for 25 years until his untimely death in 09. There will be absolutely NO replacement.

And listen to your intuition
Everyone you indulge does not need to be in your house or even know where you live.
Your safer that way.
Did the people in the building know the two were getting a divorce? Someone knew the husband and let him in not knowing his intent? If it is a secure building, how did the gun get passed security? Need a list of who is getting divorced, and an up-to-date picture of the spouse. Most people would rather be dead than go through a divorce, ask someone that has been divorced with the child component and see what they say.
It's a lot of that going on in the world it just happened in Toledo Ohio too
