BTW: DeSantis IS going to run for 2024 POTUS; especially in view of his landslide reelection as Florida governor. DeSantis is at his political peak and he'd be crazy not to run for POTUS in 2024.
And whether Trump runs or not, Trump will hound McCarthy and other Republicans just because he wants to maintain the imaginary notion of being "Trump the king-maker." And if McCarthy and any other Republicans support a DeSantis nomination, Trump is really going to cut-loose with his denigration of them.
