. If I were Warnock or Walker, I would not be happy to have to campaign again. I would be tempted to push "auto replay" for chosen film and spot info, rather than re-inventing the world once again to new voters. So much campaigning!
By the time they campaign for almost a year, for instance for the House, you spend as much time campaigning as 1/2 the time doing the job. Isn't there a better way?
Couldn't we figure a way to use the campaigning to help gather popular votes for specific issues? What if they chose the issues they wanted to fight for, or from a list of of problems provided by the government organization, and present their views on how best to arrive at legislation. I would include "people voting for actual issues" as in "yes or no" to help expedite legislation in run-offs! The Republican party seems to do more individual bashing than issue naming, and all would ask that both members campaign that way, as our preference.
It is not easy to figure out how to solve problems. It is so much easier to say, "Look at this awful problem here." Problems don't just happen and persist for no reason. The problem is often rooted in how to identify the persistence, rather than spying it in the landscape. What do YOU SAY regarding run-offs?
(I do want to commend Georgia in initiating this new method of voting. This style makes sure at least 50% have chosen someone, rather than, say, a mere third or a quarter. Truthfully, it seems more advanced.)
