Just because someone is a celebrity or from Silicon Valley does not automatically mean they are smart especially the former. That's the problem with most people not having a tech background/training/education who are easily impressed by these folks.
There are smart Silicon Valley people from above for sure but at most it is probably around 15-20% out of all of them. That's still a much higher percentage than the whole population of this country or even around the world.
How smart one has to be to work in Twitter, F.B and YouTube? Is working at these companies a lot harder and challenging than working for other companies in Silicon Valley? Truth is most of their employees are no different than those working in the average IT sectors. All you need is to have the skillsets necessary to scale their platforms and infrastructures to handle the massive daily users' traffics. The only smart requries by these companies is knowing how to hide all their nefarious activities behind the scene in censoring those users they don't like. The best is to hide their criminal activities behind the "AI", "Deep-Learning Algorithms" and "Big Data" banner – "Ms. I Am So Sorry My Doggie Ate My Homeworks!!!"
