A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder for allegedly hitting over two dozen Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recruits that left multiple people in critical condition. NBC News’ Niala Charles reports from L.A. with the latest details.

Heard yesterday this was a Hate crime
The car seems to be verering off towards the curb in a straight line without throttle or brake which might indicate driver fell asleep or fainted. Or this might be the violence Trump was referring to in his speech when he said 'It's going to get violent'
The law in my state says pedestrians have to use a sidewalk if available but if it isn't then people can be on the left side of the road ( or on the shoulder) facing oncoming traffic, the severity of this case lies with whether or not they were running in the lane legally, it would be pretty embarrassing for the department if the recruits were breaking the law in a training exercise

The video shows squad cars with lights flashing rolling directly behind the running group of recruits. There is no way the driver could not have been aware of the situation he was heading into. His father and a number of relatives work for the sheriff department – I suspect there's a story there.

The driver is another Darrell Brooks. He needs multiple convictions for attempted murder.
The report I listened to yesterday said this guy hit the recruits so hard they were picking up people’s limbs from the street. I don’t know how you could be so unaware while driving and end up causing an “accident” of this magnitude.
Even if it’s legitimately an accident, he still needs to be held accountable. People do all sorts of idiotic things on the road and really minimize the fact that every stupid, risky and thoughtless move they make on the road could change their lives or cost them their lives completely, as well as others.
Don't forget that the people he ran over were training to be serial killers. They deserved it 100%.
