They claimed he had mental problems for years and they had him in therapy at one point, but yet no paperwork to show any of these claims.
You telling me he had mental problems since 6 yet his so called therapist never prescribed him anything or notified the school especially if he has a disorder that put others in harms way. There's paperwork for that! Schools would have had him tested

What was the point of writing that letter to the judge? The Judge cannot force someone to have an attorney, the defendant has the right to represent themselves and the Judge CANNOT overrule that right.
Where is her compassion for the families who lost loved ones, have physical and mental injuries!? She raised this poor excuse of a 'man'. She is as delusional as he is. She makes excuses and the severity is downplayed once again.
This woman is trying to make her evil son a victim. If he was so mentally incapable why did she give him her car that day. She had to know he doesn't have a license. All these escapades of him in the court was to pretent he's mental. He's not sorry as she said in another video just watch his court appearances and see his behavior. See how he treats the victims. He made a mockery of the court. When the victims where giving their impact statement he was rolling his eyes making gestures with his hands beating his heart. He said in his closing statement at his trail that despicable had a clear conscience. His mother is in my opinion dispickable trying to make excuses for him. This woman deceives herself and enables his self serving evil behaviors. It is well established he has dysfunctional disorders and not mental illness. He is not manic, he has proven that he is capable of controlling his behaviors, anger, and responses. The problem is in the fact that he is narcissist and sociopath. Void of human compassion, empathy, remorse etc….That is not mental illness, nor is there medication to address these kind of issues. That is self centered pride so deeply embedded that he chooses not to engage in getting help for himself and sake of others. Because he see's nothing wrong with his choices and behaviors that he is forced to unleash on others when they don't conform to his wishes and entitlements. She needs to confront the reality of who he chooses to be and pray God's salvation and mercy over his soul, as there is nothing else for him. To continue to enable and excuse his behavior serves no purpose.

Brooks,, 's mother is just like him. Miss know it all. The psychiatrist finds him fit to stand trial but his mother diagnoses him with a mental illness. Darrel is Mr know it all. And she disagrees with a qualified psychiatrist a bout his mental state. Accept your son is a cold blooded killer. Are you lady, a psychiatrist? That doctor studied for many years. Did you?

Give her a break! At the end of the day, her son is a grown man. We should not be attacking the family for his crimes. They are not guilty by association. We've seen what hes done in public court but not behind closed doors. We can only assume that he treats his mom poorly. As you see, shes ashamed herself. Who knows if she had to choice to bail him out, and give him her car keys or she would have to be abused herself.

Mommy got to stop making excuses for her son. He ran over his girlfriend he got anger issues and she believe everything he says to her and if I was a mother of one of the victims I would not want to hear from a woman who make excuses for her son.
I’ve always said parents can “F” up their kid. This is a perfect example of it.

How is it NOT intentional? After the first person he hit, he drove 2 blocks, hit many people, and tried to escape capture. Intentional also means knowing your actions will result in the injury or death of another person, and doing it anyway 😑

She is codependent on darrells poor behavior. To appease her own guilt in how Darrell turned out, she makes excuses and bails him out. Our job as moms is to raise competent, healthy, and happy ADULTS. When you raise children, you wind up with a full blown man-child like darrell.
Weirdly enough I have seen several narcs that were raised by very good parents that did everything right in the book.i think it's something else than how parents raised them.Remember that is someone's son,sibling or parent too.
