Use to work for them. I highly doubt they will layoff during the holiday season. I'm a truck driver now and pick up loads and delivery to Amazons so I'll see the aftermath

Lesson learned here is to never be loyal to your company, just do what is required at your job and not do any extra mile or overtime just to finish it and most of all, always get a second job even if its per diem so you have a back up đ
Amazon is doing this partly for retaliatory reasons. Moreover, they are expecting some profitability issues next quarter and forward.
Amazon just said they didnât have enough drivers for deliveries. They are getting sued for late deliveries. Their contractors said the same thing.

As a package delivery driver I have ppl on my route that literally gets packages EVERY single day and Iâm not exaggerating about that, Iâve often wondered what else could these ppl want or need that they donât already have?? But anyhow I been cutting back on my spending and now my with my OT my bank account sitting pretty for and after the holidays. I was shaking my head watching ppl go on crazy shopping sprees but hey if you got it then go get it I guess⌠đđ

In England, fishing ships got a subsidy to build new ships to keep the fleet running. It got to the point that, the market could not buy the excess fish caught at sea, but the Bounty of free assistance from the government kept coming into the ship yards and fleet owners anyway. The fleet owners, lived off of the free government hand out to build more and more ships that the industry didn't need.
Sounds familiar. Cut taxes and the free Market will build itself. They left out, and don't stop our free money to build those factories.
So the capitalists got what they wanted and sure enough, factories were built, but, built overseas. Then the Proletariat, began living in the sidewalks and became homeless, while the elite, bought up more sky scrapers and borrowed more and more money in their name to run a government, that sells out it's own voters and citizens to pocket the money laundered free gifted foreign aid(Biden's and the UKRAINE Pipelines).
Suddenly, all the elites, will be living in the streets in tents with the Proletariat wage earners that they sold out, with useless to use billions of dollars, that is now unspendable.
this is why labour should never be loyal to any company. They will rather destroy people's livelihood rather than reduce their profit
