I graduated a couple years before Columbine was a thing, and when the internet was just becoming one. I hung out with freaks & geeks, and I can still remember waiting for the bus and one of my school mates being really excited about a (book on how to make bombs) he found online. I remember him saying something like "wouldn't it be great if"… and in unison the rest of us were like "NO!!!". And that was the end of that.
