In an NBC News investigation, Gabe Gutierrez takes a closer look at one Ohio company that’s come under scrutiny for its property management and eviction practices, with allegations that it’s taking advantage of low-income tenants.

Who owns Vinebrook?
Yeah, 4 out of 5 renew leases because they own all the homes nearby. What other choice do the folks have?
Who own's Vinebrook? Got to be a psychopathic individual only out for him/her self. Enough of corporate owning homes. This is a no-go and hopefully Vinebrook goes out of business soon.
Best thing is, it's a foreign company from a nation that bans Americans from owning real estate.
Yea its called conspiracy to monopolize. Both are chargeable offenses and both are concepts that are actively working in concert to facilitate the billionaires concious manipulation of systems/people.
Your org is perhaps invested with them.

Move to Vienna, Austria.
This is ridiculous – if you want more control over where you live, BUY a house or condo. You are not entitled to a perpetually low monthly rent forever. These people want more handouts from all forms of government. Nothing but welfare queens
Corporations are the same as individuals under the law, and freely able to invest their $ the same as you are. There is nothing inherently wrong about it.
BTW, corporate owners will at least invest in the property whereas private individual "slumlords" may not.
And rent is set by the market price, and renters don't own the property. Quit trying to curtail ownership rights. I was once a renter and had issues with it as well. So I bought ramen noodles on sale, went without cable, etc. and saved my $ to buy a house. When I needed to move, I rented that house, and save to buy another one. Anyone can do this if you choose the tradeoffs in lifestyle to do it.
Under terms of your signed rental agreement, you can likely be evicted with 30 days notice period. I'm a landlord of a couple properties, and that's a standard entry – particularly if they are past the lease term and now month-to-month. There are legitimate reasons for it – like I need to make repairs and I'm not going to pay to store the tenant's belongings, etc. while it happens. And the tenant has a pet when it wasn't allowed, who then destroyed the carpets. Or maybe I just want to fix up the property and sell it. It is up to me – I'm the one who paid for it!
Burn all those corporate houses down !
Shinny pants😠 …ball hugger 🤦 …come out with a new style…Please🙏
Has anyone noticed that he ends each mod more toxicly than the last one?
THIS is what's wrong with America today; Greed. If you are a shareholder of Vinebrook, you should be ashamed of every stock knowing that it is displacing those among us who are less fortunate, without a care. It use to take a village; now it takes a lawyer.
Fink needs to be locked up in prison.
Can vouch for this-this company was making my life miserable with multiple calls, emails and threats daily. When you need to call them it's a different story though. I cannot stress enough how predatory and rude these people are.
10:53 I like how Capcom keeps hiding Ethan's face even if he's facing the front of the camera, but online Ethan's face has been made public
These practices are predatory.
Let me see your manager
This administration made tax policies that caused investors to storm low income areas. Politicians know how to help their buddies acting like they are fighting against Big Corporate Companies.
Burn Vinebrook offices to the ground. In every state. The rich only care when you get into their pocket. Make them feel the same fear those who worry about how and where to live feel. Ask yourself, what would the French do?
Ah, red state garbage!
There should be a law that a person should only owned one house per state.
NOW its a concern?
They ought to be deported. Really. They're all foreign and hateful dis-attached from the people. They don't belong here.
Lower property taxes, and lower corporate taxes would do the most in the way of lowering rent.
My greatest expense every year is the money I pay the government. If you averaged it out over a lifetime, most people spend the last 10-15 years of their life working to pay the government.
They always prey on the poor who can't afford lawyers
Only in Ohio
Ban corporate and foreign landlords.
Growing? Seriously. This has been a concern for many of us for a very very long time. It's why our market is broken. That and single family home zoning.
