Democrats are confident in the “cushion” they’ve been given over Thanksgiving weekend by a big turnout in early voters (40% were African American) in the Georgia Senate runoff, NBC News Political Contributor Greg Bluestein reports. Republican Herschel Walker has slowed down on events and is giving “no comment” on former President Trump’s meeting with a white supremacist.

The fact that it's as close as it is astonishes me. It don't usually talk this way about people with disabilities (C.T.E.) but Walker is as dumb as a pile of rocks and has no business anywhere near any government buildings save for maybe a prison. Republicans in this country have cast aside their integrity and honor by standing with people like Walker, and they do it all for a party line. Do they not get that we want the best for them too? Democrats are flawed or more but they are the only reasonable option to save this country. Republicans get elected bc of fear and after they decimate our wonderful country for four years or more it's the Dems who have to spend years cleaning it up and in the process never get real progress accomplished because of it. I mean other than Texas, Florida and Alaska all republican ran states net negative each year and have to get federal funds. Funds that largely come from Democrat taxes. Rural Republicans largely take advantage of social programs like SNAP. Programs that Democrat's push for. We also push for ALL people's rights not just Democrat rights. They are so focused on fear they can't see who's fighting for them. 😢
