Give the working Man his due all you rich people think that's poor folks should be your slaves and work for crumbs while you sit back and get fat. That's why rich people don't like unions because when your people stand together you have to pay
Why can't their boss Mr Warren Buffett the richest man in the f**** world give those people a raise that they need and paid sick leave he treats him like slaves but all rich people like slaves they make them money.
Yes the effective way that people found by themselves without the help of republicans
Truckers and fast food workers and grocery workers should join. The strike
Pretty sad Americans wages are 40 years apart with inflation. Heartbreaking when Americans have to beg for adecuate wages and time off
Fox News is beside itself that people can shut down the Oligarch's game.
Lol abuse them for years and then blame them wen they rebel against said abuse. Special place in hell for these ceos
Once again spreading fear on this topic. The railroad historically does not stop with a long strike. Plus you keep saying there’s a 24% raise there is no 24 is 23% and that is when it is going to accumulate at the end of five years. So this has been explained to you by the union officials in another video that I saw. And you’re still twisting this information. You should be reporting on why the railroad can change a holiday to get a longer three day weekend for the people at the very top. When they force 90% of the workforce to work holidays. Should report on how disgusting and unsanitary the place is. How the Covid shot was some thing they were willing to fire people over. But encourage people to come to work sick by not giving them paid sick days. Because that’s the reality and that’s what really happens.
It's not PAID sick days… days off with out penalty or risk of being fired!
Work is for immigrants….
Work is for everyone immigrants…..Saudi’s volunteered to fly planes …. I’m sure they would have some interest in driving trains and trucks
Go for it rail workers
They deserve to be held to ransome, American employment relations are third world.
Let them strike.
They aren't holding the government hostage. They're standing up for themselves!
Lance Fritz CEO of Union Pacific $14,523,819.
Have faith I think they will be able to come to some type of agreement.
There are a lot of things they're not talking about. Sick days and sufficient rest days are only part of the issue. Two man crews have to be well rested and alert. To comply with stringent safety rules to operate a 15,000 foot freight train at 70 mph. The way Railroads treat their Trainmen is a big secret most of the public is unaware of. The owners like Warren Buffett, Joseph R. Hinrichs, Vanguard and Allen H, Shaw are responsible.
Oil is carried in mass by a pipe line not by train, what are these crazy people talking about, not if they talk about coal then that would be another story. These crazies are talking our there you know what!!
No, you got the headline wrong… “Wall Street and Greedy CEO’s hold the American Public Hostage by treating employees like animals”… fixed it for you.
Maybe Venezuela can send workers. lol
I stand with the workers! These CEO's are so freaking greedy!
Unions are great!
Did you know that as a US citizen, you pay for the marketing of gasoline? That 11% for marketing, is added to your fee when you buy gasoline. People literally are getting robbed in plain view.
The caption is for real? Unions have always held someone hostage through their strike postures. This comes as a surprise to someone? When the opponent, in this instance the biden administration needs a win, the unions will push for the greatest amount they can hope for and usually government will fall prostrate. Although there was this guy Reagan who told some of the striking unions to take a hike. But then he was the guy with the most terrifying words in the English language, "We're from the government, and we're here to help."
Wrooong. The railroad workers are tired getting screwed by the railroad. Workers are sticking up for there rights. All railroad made billions and billions of dollars. Companies don't give a rats @$$ about the Workers
That ceo sounds like a crook!!
Give then regular days off!! They have to have time with famiky!!
Yeah right to. Ceo!!
Good on them.
I work for BNSF they really want one man crews they want to get rid of the conductor then in time the engineer. The trains basically runs itself already with PTC and Trip optimizer we just monitor it. They really want to get rid of all of us in time.
We're not asking for more money we want time off period and we ain't holding the economy hostage we don't have time off the company should take that in consideration.
Now this is GASLIGHTING at its finest in attempting to shape the narrative. The onus is on the rail companies who is squeezing the life of these rail workers so they can fill the coffers of their executives and shareholders. The rail workers just said enough! These rail companies have ENOUGH $$$ to hire more rail workers so they can cover each other, and actually have PAID personal-time-off to take care of themselves and their families without risk of getting fired, without sacrificing their rail companies ability to send goods and shipment on time. But the rail companies won't do it b/c they are too f$$$king greedy.
Remember company CEO's, you said labor doesn't contribute to profits.
If rail workers strike it wouldn't be a stretch to see truck drivers strike at the same time in hopes of getting a lot of the unfair government regulations removed.
This has nothing to do with Biden, negotiations have been going on for 3 years. Biden wasn't president 3 years ago.
LET'S GO BRANDON 🚩🚩🚩🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
And they run on diesel
Yet he gives money to illegals
This lady has absolutely no idea what she is talking about. She is has severely oversimplified the unions grievances
CEO of CSX transportation James Foote $19,208,383.
Allan Marshall is blackmailing the employees that are ABUSED. Unacceptable. What a despicable human being.
Its not paid time off!!! Its about not getting fired for getting sick at all! Any time not on call 24/7/365 climbs the ladder to termination, and quickly.
No set schedule, not even known sleep times in advance.
Im sure Allen Marshall has the luxury of going to bed at least once in a 24 hour period each day with some idea or choice of when. Railroaders dont even get a choice or notice of when they get to SLEEP. To say they really holding anything hostage is a complete misrepresentation on ALL levels.
Excuse me??? The CEOS are holding the nation hostage for greed!!! This is absolute childishness and false.
I don’t agree, they’re telling us it’s extremely important to uphold these extreme work conditions and they don’t have sick days? Sounds like a corporate money grab to me.
It is hard to have a life with the hours you have to work. You get paid well, but if you are awake you are at work. Long hours and very few days off. Time for stiffer hours of service rules.
Unions are the lubricant for Capitalism.
The Railroad Owners cut the number of Workers and put the extra load on the remaining Workers.
What would you do when your daily workload increases by 30%? And your days off are cut in half. The Board of Directors are playing golf and smoking 50 Dollar cigars.
PB you're the transportation Czar… cast aside your social schedule and get in the fight dude. It's your job isn't it?
