My grandma once wrote Jay Leno and his wife a letter regarding some charity work they did. Jay then tracked down my grandmother's phone number and tried to call her at home (this was before cellphones). My grandpa answered and let Leno know that my grandmother actually couldn't come to the phone because she was in hospital about to have a hip replacement. Jay then called the hospital and tracked her down to her room and they had a nice long chat. He really went out of his way to respond to my grandma. She held that very close to her heart and mind until she passed many years later. I'll always love Jay Leno for giving her that.
