I am a white person from the UK. When I first came to the US I was asked all the time if I was Irish. I would reply no. I am British. Was I offended? Of course not. People even argued with me that my first language is not English. I would just walk away from them. So white Brits also have to deal with ignorant people too. I just choose to ignore them, every once and awhile my Welsh temper well correct them. It's life there are morons everywhere.
There is still racism and it is found in EVERY race. It has existed since the beginning and, like a plague, never seems to quit. It is a shame because we were meant to love one another and instead hate thrives among us. If you want to change the situation, start within. Putting out love and light will in turn create harmony. Try it.
Love the Prince and Princess but I am not a believer in climate change. Cleaning up the earth is, indeed, our responsibility, however, the climate has been changing since time immemorial and will continue despite our efforts. God controls the universe and, therefore, the weather. We are to keep clean and pristine the gift He gave us; the earth! It's time we learn to think GOD because the end is near and no matter what we do here, He will have the last say. So, keep the world clean, including the oceans and rivers, stop building endless strip malls, corporate buildings, and other and put more green spaces into the scene. What a wonderful thing! Leave the climate to God. As the Virgin Mary told us, she appears as "the wind." Challenge Her? I think not. C'mon Prince Will/ King Charles, give God credit here. We are messing with His creation, and we should tone it down. Has anyone given thought to the fact that when the axil shifts, the climate changes? Not all scientists believe in the agenda of "climate change." The biggest change of climate I have witnessed since I am living on this planet is in politics!
Duchess meant she had land and property according to royal descent.. she did not therefore how did that title get given to her. In fact, in history the reason why royals are not to marry commoners is that there is usually a dowry involved… helpful to the future royal crown. I personally think it's great to do visits to charity but I am reviewing the old laws and wondered if someone could clarify as I don't understand how it happened….
Can someone please explain how Duchess became Princess Catherine who was actually a commoner known as Kate Middleton. Old succession laws explain online that one must be born of a King and Queen. Who made the grant to acceptance to Kate…. I cannot find that online. I did read you must be of royal bloodline.

There is a difference between asking a person where she/he's from, and insisting on keeping the question about "really from where" as if the person shouldn't be in that environment in the first place. That's the difference between curious and racist.

European person of colour here, and I find it really offensive when people ask where I'm really from or assume I'm not my nationality because I'm not white. I get treated as a foreigner purely based on how I look. Maybe these questions aren't considered offensive in the US because the whole population (apart from Native people) are immigrants, but I know many European people of colour who would get offended.
I would ask the same question our countries are being over run and its only white countries, u tell me, who are the racists?
The fact that people are interested enough to ask about your heritage means something. I an Asian, born here in the U.S. When people ask what nationality I am, that show me that they are interested in me as a person and genuinely want to start a conversation

With all genetic testing going on she may have thought she knew more about her background. The problem is slavery brought many people to different lands and it doesn't mean you got free genetic testing to find out your background.

Lady Hussey is 83 years old while the black charity boss was waring a full African dress and when asked were she came from she did no give a strait answer so the 83 year old asked again the black boss her charity is funded by black lives matter and she is a fan of Megan and harry says it all really its a shame a woman of 83 that looked after our late queen for so many years has been taken down for small talk at a cocktail party by an obvious hater of the royal family

Many of us black people in Britain do face that question and you can tell a mile off when it is genuine and when it is steeped in racism. This is the same woman who on hearing Harry and Meghan were together, instead of congratulating them said: 'It will end in tears'.

This poor woman who came to be honoured as she represented the 'abused' let feeling in her words: 'interrogated' and 'abused'.
