Barring an unlikely 'medical incident', the speed at which this vehicle was travelling, and while in a PARKING LOT, suggests it may have been intentional.
Either way, the operation of 2-ton vehicles (especially the now oh-so-prevalent massive SUVs, Jeeps, F150s etc.) is not to be taken lightly. The American mentality is all about cars as being our go-to, 'normal' mode of transport. It don't matter whether you live in the Midwest, or even in a dense, public transit-rich city such as NYC. Even in NYC (where I live), many young people 'assume' that once they hit 18, they should be working towards getting their own personal-use 2-ton form of transit. That's a 2-ton vehicle, for ONE person. (How many people or families do you know, who actually SHARE a vehicle? Pay attention to the vehicles on our roads, and I'd say a good 60-70% contain just ONE passenger (the driver). That is utterly preposterous. Perhaps 10-30% contain two passengers, and a much smaller amount contain three or more.
Drivers need to always keep in mind (especially Younger drivers) that a car is a TOOL, and a potentially deadly one, at that. Cars aren't 'fun' or 'cool' (though they certainly can feel that way, at times). But above all, the first point of view of a vehicle should be that of a TOOL, and one that is not to be taken nonchalantly.
Well we can all presume it was either a terrorist or a republican (they are one in the same). Otherwise an old boomer who shouldn’t be behind the wheel ..but then again many of them are also republicans.
